FAQ

Who is Reach Within for?

Reach Within is for one clinician in private practice. It is built for psychologists, counsellors, therapists and psychiatrists. Social workers, occupational therapists and dietitians use the same plan, in South Africa and the United Kingdom.

What is included in the monthly plan?

One plan per clinician includes Within Assist, the Within clinical record, and Reach. That covers a consented session recording, a transcript, a drafted note you review, session notes, treatment plans, consent forms and e-signatures, releases of information, documents, the enquiry pipeline, intake, the calendar and invoicing. Between-session check-in emails are included. Medical-aid claims submission, Microsoft sign-in and accounting integrations are coming soon. They are not available yet.

How much does it cost?

R500 for clinicians and counsellors in South Africa and £60 per clinician per month in the United Kingdom. Choose the region on the pricing page. The site does not detect your location. Whether these prices include VAT or local sales tax is still being confirmed.

What is Within Assist?

Within Assist records the session, with the client's consent, and produces a transcript. It drafts the clinical note. It is conversational, and it knows the client's history and earlier transcripts. You review the draft and apply suggestions straight into the note fields. It is there to save hours of note-writing each week and give that time back to clients. It does not sign the record.

What does Reach do?

Reach is the admissions and practice front office. It holds the enquiry and lead pipeline, intake and admission, the calendar and schedule, and invoicing and billing. Intake can open the Within record already filled in.

What does Within hold?

Within is the clinical record: session notes, treatment plans, consent forms and e-signatures signed on an iPad or tablet, releases of information, and documents for each client. Within Assist sits on that same record.

Is there a free trial?

A free trial is planned. Length: TODO — for Vincent to confirm before launch. This site does not promise a number of days.

Is this a therapy notes and billing app?

Yes. Within holds the clinical notes, and Within Assist drafts them from the session. Reach handles invoicing and billing in the same system, so the note and the invoice are not typed in two places.

Is Reach Within an EMR for private practice?

Within is an electronic client record for a private practice. People sometimes search for that as an EMR for private practice in the UK or South Africa. It is not a hospital records system, and it is not an NHS product. We do not claim a certified EMR.

Where is client data hosted?

Client data for the products is hosted in the EU. Access is by role, and signed records are audit-friendly.

Are you POPIA or GDPR compliant?

The design is POPIA and GDPR-minded. We do not claim POPIA compliance, GDPR compliance, or HIPAA compliance, and we do not claim a certification.

Do clients get check-in emails between sessions?

Yes. Clients can get between-session check-in emails that track mood, emotional regulation and general well-being. Their answers go into the clinical record, so you can see trends and notice when someone is struggling. It is not an emergency service, and it does not provide crisis monitoring.

Does the start form open an account or take payment?

No. The start form is a request. It does not open an account, start a subscription, or take payment. We reply by email.

Can more than one clinician use it?

Yes. The published price is per clinician. A practice with several clinicians uses that price for each person. A team that wants a walkthrough can book a demo. There is no second public price.

Still deciding?

The form is a request for one clinician. It does not take payment.
