This comparison was checked in October 2026 against Carepatron’s public pricing page at https://www.carepatron.com/pricing and against Reach + Within’s UK pricing. Carepatron’s figures below are in US dollars, as published. Our UK figure is in pounds. We do not pretend a conversion is the price. This note does not use Carepatron’s logo.
Carepatron sells practice software with a free tier that includes an AI scribe, telehealth and a storage cap. Reach + Within is paid practice software for UK therapists and group practices from £60 a month per clinician, with admin, finance and management users free.
What Carepatron published
On 4 October 2026 the pricing page showed:
- Free: $0, including an AI scribe, 1 GB of storage, and telehealth.
- Plus: $31 per user a month, also shown as $15.50 with the wording “Save 50% for 6 months”.
- Advanced: $39 per user a month, also shown as $19.50 with the same six-month wording.
The discount is a promotion. The price you should budget is the one that applies after six months, unless Carepatron confirms otherwise in your quote. Storage on the free tier was 1 GB. That is small once you keep recordings or scanned reports. Check what happens to the AI scribe and to telehealth when you leave the free tier, on their page, on the day you decide.
What we publish for the UK
There is no free tier. From £60 a month per clinician is the public starting price. Admin users are free, so a per-user dollar price and a per-clinician pound price are not the same shape. A practice with one clinician and two admin staff is one seat here, not three.
Assist drafts a session note from a recording only with client consent. You edit and sign. We do not offer a $0 scribe beside a separate diary. The diary, the note and the invoice are the product. Role-based access, an audit trail and secure family report links are included. Sign-in with a second factor is coming soon. Outcome scales are coming soon. Hosting is in the EU (Netherlands). We do not claim a certification, and we do not claim Sage, Xero or two-way calendar sync as live integrations.

Where Carepatron is a better fit
Choose Carepatron if you want to start at $0 and see an AI scribe before you pay. Choose it if a per-user price in dollars, with a published six-month reduction to $15.50 or $19.50, is the budget you have, and if 1 GB is enough while you decide. A practitioner who already has a diary and only wants a low-cost or free scribe should not be talked out of a free tier. That is an honest fit.
Where Reach + Within is a better fit
Choose Reach + Within if the free tier’s storage and the per-user charging of admin staff are the wrong shape, and if you want the fee in pounds with a clear admin-is-free rule. Choose it if the clinical requirement is a signed note on the same file as the booking, with the front desk blocked from the record. Choose it if you need the security controls named above as part of the product rather than as a later upgrade you have not checked.

How to decide
Count users Carepatron will charge and clinicians we will charge. They may not be the same people. Put the post-promotion dollar price next to £60. Use the free tier if you are unsure you need a full system. Use our trial if you already know you need enquiries, notes and invoices in one place and you are willing to pay the UK price.
